last day of my btech life

It was the day where every one is worried that this is going to be the last day of our meeting. Everybody had the feeling that this is going to be the end of our happy days. Till intermediate we all were more concentrated on studies as everyday was a competition for us. In our engineering life we all our friends got attached to each other so much that, now its like feeling something that we are leaving behind those who more valuable than diamonds. For some us had tears rolling down our eyes that we all going to be separated from each other. We all definitely miss all the fun, joy, silly fights, fake pairs which all our classmates comment on them, bunking classes, enjoying the flop films with the running commentaries made, ragging sessions, teachers who always guide us, and many more. Definitely my btech life had left me great memories which I definitely carry them all through my life. If I get time machine definitely I would like go back to my first yr and enjoy with all my friends once again. Definitely I miss all my best buddies....

4-2 sem

It was the time where whole our campus was busily involved preparing for different competitive exams and placements. The capital iq called us on December 4^th for the interview, the interview was done by the head of the ciq oh Hyderabad branch. The questions he asked were related to the practical experience, this was the time where our raju sir guidance helped me in facing the questions. After the 1 hr of this technical interview they told me immediately that I was selected for the last round i.e. video conference round where in interview will be conducted by the people from the US. It was the situation where I and sudha were worried whether we can catch up with the accent of US. In the evening at 730 pm the interview started, the people working there told us before going into the room that we can understand their accent and there is no need to worry. I was asked the some technical questions and at last he(person from US) asked me “tell me 3 most important test conditions that you taken when given google search for testing” the interviewer was impressed by the test conditions I have told and at last interview completed successfully. The capital iq hr told that they had to go iitkgp for interview and told they would announce the result after a week. In the mean as we returned back TCS was ready for the placement, we couldn’t take chance as ciq has minimal requirement and that too going for iit for the placement, so we attended tcs written exam and were qualified in it. The next day was the interview which was started at noon, everybody from our class was called one after the other. The time was passing on and my name was not called and many of my friends completed their management rounds and hr arounds after technical round. It was 5 in the evening at last my turn came and I confidently entered as I have already passed through the interview at ciq. The interview started with thoroughly asking questions from every part of the resume. Everything gone well covering most of the subjects in my btech but when they entered to computer networks wherein I m weak in that subject just tried to reach their point. It was 1 hr and 30 mins interview was done to me, during this they had given all the feed back what the answers I have told them. The feedback was very positive but they gave the expressions in such a way that I couldn’t understand whether I m selected for the next mr round or not. Next immediately I was sent directly to hr round. The hr interview was not more than 2mins, it was the time that I lost my confidence that for all them hr round was more than 10 mins and for me its only 2mins. They told us result would be announced the next day. I was very eager to know the result as my ciq result was also not announced. The next day was the bandh for samakya Andhra every vehicle going was stopped on the way. With great difficulty we our classmates reached university to eagerly know our result. But the tcs guys called our placement officer that they cant come to college as the situation is more violent near their hotel where they were accommodated. It was the time I hated Indian politics the most. The bandh was continuing further extended to Monday i.e. 3 days after the interview, but even during this situation we our classmates reached the university with great difficulty but placement officer told that he was not mailed the tcs selected list, here was the situation where a week passed ciq result was not announced and tcs result was not known. It was in the afternoon on that day capital iq hr called me and said that I m selected and asked me to inform sudha that she was also selected. It was the situation where in I was on cloud 9 and on the same day itself in the evening 7 tcs result was announced and my friends called and said that I was selected for tcs. It was definitely a great day for me and was so happy that cannot be expressed in words. After the bandh was called off I first ran to our raju sir and informed that I was selected for both the companies. He was very happy and gave us the valuable suggestions. For those who selected for 1 company is not allowed for the next as the recruitment was less by companies compared to previous years.

Then after we started concentration on our project, we all were given winter vacation but for the students who are working under the guidance of raju sir and valli mam were given the real time project application where in we all had to work even during our vacation. There are 3 batches working under the guidance of valli mam and raju sir. In those 1 batch rama krishna and vihari had taken the permission that they would work after their gate exam as vihari was seriously preparing for it and rams for gre. Another batch aneesha and deepthi informed mam that they would work from home show updates daily. In my batch me and sagarika were left to work daily in mams room. We were given our modules to be done and 3^rdy yr ms junior yeswanth was told to join with us. We had to work all the time to complete our modules which were assigned to us. Actually we were not worried about the vacation as we not given because there was lots and lots of fun we had during our project sessions, mainly the conversations between yeshwanth, nischal sir(mtech student) and chakravathy sir, Krishna sir(phd scholars) in mams room. Every time one or the other in mams room used to crack silly jokes which everyone used to enjoy a lot. In the 4-2 sem most of the time I spent in valli mam room for completion of project. If I had any problem in my project every one used to help me a lot in guiding me to the best. I heard learnt many things during my project. Our valli mam I say she the best I have seen in guiding the students. She is very cool and if I get worried for anything she just helps and says don’t worry during this time definitely you ideas for getting the output. She had given many practical examples she had gone through during her project time and help every time every student working under her. During our vacation it used be night 730 8 where she used to drop me upto maddilapalem as there wont be anyone in the university premises. These are my experiences in my project. We are classmates during the end had gone through different places and enjoyed every moment. We were given farewel by our juniors before our sem exams stated. There approached our sem exams and successfully completed them. This is the sem where I learnt many lessons of life...

4- 1 sem

It was on july our classes had been started. We didn’t have placements like our seniors during this time as the software field was down and also naac committee have decided that the placements should take place after the completion of the 4-1 sem. Coming to our classes and labs, the computer networks was taken by our pallam setty sir where from the first class to last class he thought us cell switching, packet switching, frame relay, X.25, ATM as he has taken only a few classes in our sem. We had OOSE class taken by our raju sir where in he shared all his experiences related to our subject all through the sem. We came to know our raju sir fully during this sem. He also had taken the OOSE lab where in he was very strict client for us while satisfying his requirements. Before we used to threatened him as he was not getting satisfied for the project what we have done but after our seniors have told us that he want to be strict client so that in the future during our work period we can easily go through all different types of clients. Definitely during all this sem raju sir guided us in different directions to how to deal with complex problems during the work period. He definitely became my favorite professor as he wants all his students learn practically rather than having only theoretical knowledge. This sem too seetha rammaya sir came for us for embedded system being strict for all his classes. Prasad babu sir has taken artificial intelligence, this time not only our boys, but also our girls were also coming late to class. I just remember the day where I came so early to class before 9, our Prasad babu sir came to class and started class for me alone, I had a feeling that I was in hell and had all sorts of sad expressions on my face, no one came 2 class till 10 and I felt that 1 hour to be 1 year going on just by checking my watch, in mean time I also got doubt whether my watch was working or not, I just beaten my watch as the time is not going further. At the end of this sem to our surprise our placement officer avdhani sir that there is placement capital iq just before 1 week of our sem exams. It was our 1^st placement everybody in our class were in serious preparation to grab the opportunity. At last three girls me, sagarika , sudha were selected for the final round in the Hyderabad which will be conducted after our sem exams. We had to read ocean of syllabus where in time left was very little. We had completed our sem successfully where we got good score which we didn’t expect. At last completed our first sem.

3rd yr of my btech life

In the 3^rd yr we enjoyed every moment. In the 3-1 sem we had given freshers to our juniors as we couldn’t interact(rag) much in our 2^nd yr due to winter vacation and also due to anti ragging squads introduced for the first time from our juniors officially. After we enjoyed our 3-1 sem with more birthday parties and bunking classes and movies.

In the 3-2 sem there are many memorable moments to be described. First of all again we got through all the senior most faculty and strict professors for all the subjects and labs too. The labs were the nightmares, one lab was dbms lab by our raju sir and microprocessor-2 lab by seetha rammaya sir, both them are considered to be strict professors of the department. Every lab session is considered be strict and every sort of evaluation is done in those sessions. My dbms lab was in the second batch as my reg num is at the end, what ever the first batch did we used take those do those programs, many a times in dbms lab for what the first batch have done for some programs were awarded 7 and 8 marks, we second batch all were awarded 0 for those. Our raju sir during 3-2 sem he was into all of our classmates dream assigning 0 for everything. The most of the days we our classmates discussed about our dreams was mostly about our raju sir. Our raju sir wants everyone to be on time to his class and lab, if the student is late by 1 second, the student will be sent out of the class. This is all about our raju sir. Coming to out seetha rammaya sir, he wants mp lab experiments to be done without copying from our seniors, where in he used evaluate our records and performance regulary. If he is not satisfied, he just doesn’t say anything, he just shows them in our internal marks. It’s just the description about our labs. Coming to the classes for the first time Prasad babu sir came for our compiler design class, his class has a specialty that anyone can come to his class at any time, taking this as advantage our boys, where most of them are hostlers used to come to class at the end for the sake of attendance. Seetha rammaya sir didn’t leave us for this sem continuously for the third time for data communications which was taken usually taken by our jhansi mam till our seniors. For the first time Valli mam has taken DAA where we used to enjoy her class as she used to involve us by solving the problems by ourselves and DBMS by our raju sir as usual. Image processing was newly introduced for sem taken by our venkat rao sir where we all our students call him to be kal nayak for his hair style. During this 3-2 sem we all our classmates had a chance to visit Hyderabad on the name of CTS fest. We all our friends had to go by bus as there was no train reservation available. The night while traveling through the bus we all enjoyed a lot with all those silly things happened in our both the labs and laughed uncontrollably. At last we reached Hyderabad, the evening we all our classmates went to Imax there. Here I need to describe the great candidate sagarika while we went into the scary house. She literally shouted a lot with fear in the scary house where even our tiny tot swati didn’t feel any panic. This continued in the maze house too. And after roaming all through Imax, we thought of going to lumbini park. Here I m introducing great hindi orator of our class santosh, he called an autoriksha, the driver of the autoriksha doesn’t know telugu or English, so our hindi orator went to him and asked him “char auto dus admi dus lelo” the auto driver couldn’t understand anything and just calmly went away saying no word. There after we had great fun in Hyderabad for 3 days roaming all through the shopping complex and central. Our 3-2 sem had gone through all sorts of happiness of our silly things done in labs which we remember even now and laugh uncontrollably. There after our exams have approached, all the exams are done well not as the 2-2 sem. Coming to our lab externals DBMS exam was done with the ER diagrams given. Next was the MP-2 lab external, first I need to tell about our internal marks where we were given only 40 as maximum mark for 50. During our external most of them did not get their outputs, I got experiment, generation of saw tooth wave form, after seeing the question I was just shocked as my classmates no one got output for that experiment. I was in a state whether to try or change my question deducting 15 marks. Then I made up my mind and thought of giving a try and at last luckily got the output, it was the time I was on cloud 9 as I got confidence that I wont be failed for not getting output. At last all my classmates were passed for those also who didn’t get their outputs too. That’s how out 3^rd yr passed leaving us great memories.

2nd year of engineering

There after we became seniors. Our classes were now shifted to the department. As and when we entered the department we were scolded by psr sir for being late on the first day itself to the department. In the 2-1 sem I need to tell more about our professors as we had all the strict professors from our department. We couldn’t bunk any class as most of us were had to tell the reasons for not attending the classes. In the month of October our juniors entered the college but we couldn’t rag them the most as our sem exams have approached. And the 1^st movie which we went with our classmates was happy days. This movie has definitely reflected our engineering life. In the 2^nd yr we came to know about our friends more closely. Our 2-1 sem has ended mostly with the professors who were definitely more strict.

We all entered the 2-2 hoping that there won’t be aby strict professors. In 2-2 sem we had hardly 2 to 3 classes a week. Most of the professors used to tell lets have a class the next day. Our oops class which was taken by Prasad reddy sir was completed in 5 classes itself, he became our favorite sir as he didn’t take much classes and assured that he would give full internal marks. I need to remember the most memorable part in the month of jan as we all our girls went to great movie mr.medhavi, it was the horrible movie we enjoyed a lot with running commentary and the theatre was almost half during the interval itself, so we had nothing much to enjoy the commentary rather than seriously watching the movie. And I need to tell about our asha now at this moment. She used to be regular more or less late by 10 mins but in the 2-2 sem as there were no strict profs used to be too late for the classes this continued even to the sem exams- a cool girl who is always late. Next coming to CO class by sampath sir this too we had not more than 6 classes, the interesting part of this class also is internal marks, he used to ask us how many marks we wanted and posted those, and most of us were given the full marks. In the 2^nd sem we ragged the juniors the most as there were no classes most of the time. I need to tell about 1 more professor seetharammayiah sir who used to be very sincere to the classes, if any nonsense happens in the class he used to stare at us and quaver his teeth. At last our sem exams have approached us. I need to describe about this sem exams the most. The first exam was edc where till previous years there were lot a problems given rather than theory we had practiced a lots of problems and neglected the theory part as they could be left in the choice questions but by our leg effect no problem question was given we had to write mostly cock and bull stories rather than subjective. This exam was rather the beginning shock for us as next exams shocked us the more. The next exam was dms-2 where in this subject we were given the 2-1 syllabus in the question paper no question from 2-2 syllabus. It was the day where we all our classmates starred at each other and wearing a smile which was like missing the last bus to the town. We all left everything to the god and wrote the exam. After the exam we ran to the avdhani sir who is our dms-2 prof to correct liberally. Next day exam shock was microprocessor by seetharammayyah sir were he taught us 8085 and left 8086 by partly explaining as there was less time and huge syllabus. We all our classmates thought to read 8085 and leave 8086 to the choice and again we had seen our leg effect as we were given 8086 questions more than 8085. We requested god at that time that please we don’t want shocks any more. But it was vain in the case of oops exams, as till previous years no question was given on java, if given there was only 1 question(we were taught only c++ but not java). But in our exam we were given a part c++ question followed by java question. I think all can understand our situation without describing that. As our exams were completed we left everything to god to take care about our marks. And as we were very lucky that all of our papers were liberally corrected and we all had good cgpa’s which we didn’t expect.

first year of my engineering life

Its on 18^th may 2006, it was the day when our eamcet results were announced…that year eamcet was duly a nightmare for us, as it was the toughest paper given ever since in the last 10 years…I just went to my college to check out my result with a lots of fear. As I entered my principal sir was outside with our results. He just congratulated me and said your rank was 555. I was just shocked and verified it twice whether it was my number or not and after I was very happy that I can get admitted to the university within the city.

After a long break enjoying my result I got admission in Andhra university for the branch cse. Its on 29^th august my first day to college with lots of fear in my mind I entered the first year class room. The first class was engineering drawing taken by prof prameela. She was entering the names of admitted batch into her register. I was the given the first roll no. after sometime a girl came into the class telling that she too got admission in cse, our prof asked what her name was, she told that her name was sagarika. I was just shocked and inquired whether she was A.M.Sagarika from the college chaitanya and she replied yes. Actually sagarika the name was very famous during our intermediate, as our lecturers used tell about her over all performance and used take long classes about her studies. She is from chaitanya assilmeta campus and I m from chaitanya nad campus. Actually I didn’t believe that she is sagarika as I expected her to be with long sighted glasses, oily hair and always books in her hand but her appearance was totally opposite in what I have expected. Then after we became the best friends, then after within a week a girl named sudha who was the classmate of sagarika in her intermediate came to our class. Sagarika introduced her to me and we 3 were the best friends always being together even in our labs too. We 3 were very famous to be triple S. After a week where we were in a illusion that no seniors would rags us but we were caught by our seniors within a week. My first interaction was with Gangadhar sir(we call our seniors as mams and sirs as part of respect given to them), he first asked me to learn any full song and sing before him the next day. I very sneakily learnt a 4 lined song which is a very small song from aaru movie and sang before him. He was just shocked after listening to that diminutive song another senior Deepak sir who observed everything, for my great sort of non sense intelligence I was given the name KANCHU. There after we all enjoyed every moment of ragging…oops sorry we call it to be interaction session. During these sessions we all our classmates came to each other and also all our seniors became our friends. Our seniors always did their best in guiding us. In the first year itself we were given the brief description about 4 yrs life how it would be till the end by our seniors. I also need describe our lab classes where we used to utilize that for mostly chitchatting and after copy the outputs from those who did the experiments. In the month of feb 28^th we were given the freshers party by our seniors signifying that there wont be any further ragging sessions and all of us are friends. It was definitely a big time for aneesha and deepthi as they can park bikes directly near our class rooms rather than hiding them near the architecture department (we were not allowed to bring our bikes to college before the freshers party was given) there was not a lot time enjoyed after our freshers party as our year end exams have approached. We all were very busy in studying huge syllabus. With all the difficulties and sleepless nights we completed our year end successfully. In the first year we have learnt more about life rather than books. Got more attached to friends a lot. We used to make lot of noise and every sort of non sense in the class rooms. Till intermediate we were restricted only for studies and always we were given strict instructions to be more discipline. In engineering nobody restricted us in enjoying even our professors used to tell us that these 4 years are going to be the most memorable part of our life. Definitely first year has given me loads of memory.
