4-2 sem

It was the time where whole our campus was busily involved preparing for different competitive exams and placements. The capital iq called us on December 4^th for the interview, the interview was done by the head of the ciq oh Hyderabad branch. The questions he asked were related to the practical experience, this was the time where our raju sir guidance helped me in facing the questions. After the 1 hr of this technical interview they told me immediately that I was selected for the last round i.e. video conference round where in interview will be conducted by the people from the US. It was the situation where I and sudha were worried whether we can catch up with the accent of US. In the evening at 730 pm the interview started, the people working there told us before going into the room that we can understand their accent and there is no need to worry. I was asked the some technical questions and at last he(person from US) asked me “tell me 3 most important test conditions that you taken when given google search for testing” the interviewer was impressed by the test conditions I have told and at last interview completed successfully. The capital iq hr told that they had to go iitkgp for interview and told they would announce the result after a week. In the mean as we returned back TCS was ready for the placement, we couldn’t take chance as ciq has minimal requirement and that too going for iit for the placement, so we attended tcs written exam and were qualified in it. The next day was the interview which was started at noon, everybody from our class was called one after the other. The time was passing on and my name was not called and many of my friends completed their management rounds and hr arounds after technical round. It was 5 in the evening at last my turn came and I confidently entered as I have already passed through the interview at ciq. The interview started with thoroughly asking questions from every part of the resume. Everything gone well covering most of the subjects in my btech but when they entered to computer networks wherein I m weak in that subject just tried to reach their point. It was 1 hr and 30 mins interview was done to me, during this they had given all the feed back what the answers I have told them. The feedback was very positive but they gave the expressions in such a way that I couldn’t understand whether I m selected for the next mr round or not. Next immediately I was sent directly to hr round. The hr interview was not more than 2mins, it was the time that I lost my confidence that for all them hr round was more than 10 mins and for me its only 2mins. They told us result would be announced the next day. I was very eager to know the result as my ciq result was also not announced. The next day was the bandh for samakya Andhra every vehicle going was stopped on the way. With great difficulty we our classmates reached university to eagerly know our result. But the tcs guys called our placement officer that they cant come to college as the situation is more violent near their hotel where they were accommodated. It was the time I hated Indian politics the most. The bandh was continuing further extended to Monday i.e. 3 days after the interview, but even during this situation we our classmates reached the university with great difficulty but placement officer told that he was not mailed the tcs selected list, here was the situation where a week passed ciq result was not announced and tcs result was not known. It was in the afternoon on that day capital iq hr called me and said that I m selected and asked me to inform sudha that she was also selected. It was the situation where in I was on cloud 9 and on the same day itself in the evening 7 tcs result was announced and my friends called and said that I was selected for tcs. It was definitely a great day for me and was so happy that cannot be expressed in words. After the bandh was called off I first ran to our raju sir and informed that I was selected for both the companies. He was very happy and gave us the valuable suggestions. For those who selected for 1 company is not allowed for the next as the recruitment was less by companies compared to previous years.

Then after we started concentration on our project, we all were given winter vacation but for the students who are working under the guidance of raju sir and valli mam were given the real time project application where in we all had to work even during our vacation. There are 3 batches working under the guidance of valli mam and raju sir. In those 1 batch rama krishna and vihari had taken the permission that they would work after their gate exam as vihari was seriously preparing for it and rams for gre. Another batch aneesha and deepthi informed mam that they would work from home show updates daily. In my batch me and sagarika were left to work daily in mams room. We were given our modules to be done and 3^rdy yr ms junior yeswanth was told to join with us. We had to work all the time to complete our modules which were assigned to us. Actually we were not worried about the vacation as we not given because there was lots and lots of fun we had during our project sessions, mainly the conversations between yeshwanth, nischal sir(mtech student) and chakravathy sir, Krishna sir(phd scholars) in mams room. Every time one or the other in mams room used to crack silly jokes which everyone used to enjoy a lot. In the 4-2 sem most of the time I spent in valli mam room for completion of project. If I had any problem in my project every one used to help me a lot in guiding me to the best. I heard learnt many things during my project. Our valli mam I say she the best I have seen in guiding the students. She is very cool and if I get worried for anything she just helps and says don’t worry during this time definitely you ideas for getting the output. She had given many practical examples she had gone through during her project time and help every time every student working under her. During our vacation it used be night 730 8 where she used to drop me upto maddilapalem as there wont be anyone in the university premises. These are my experiences in my project. We are classmates during the end had gone through different places and enjoyed every moment. We were given farewel by our juniors before our sem exams stated. There approached our sem exams and successfully completed them. This is the sem where I learnt many lessons of life...
